Blast from the Past Month begins! In this episode, we discuss the eighties: what defined the decade culturally, what we liked about it, what we hated, and what would happen if we made a live-action film of the 1985-1988 cartoon series Jem and the Holograms. Also, we'd like to issue a challenge to all our listeners. Sprinkled throughout the episode are excerpts (all less than eight-seconds long for copyright purposes) from seven moderately popular eighties songs. Well, okay, some of them are pretty obscure, but if you can identify these long-forgotten tunes, please post your amazing insight on our comments board.
