Here you'll find every update in 2008 since The Dreamersedge's relaunch. It was a generally good year for fans of movie reviews and career articles.

Santa Interrupted

2008-12-29

Happy holidays! As promised, I'm updating incredibly early this week. To celebrate Christmas, here's a comic strip featuring Hope, the new Go to You Room girl. You'll be seeing more of her in the coming year:

Slumdog Millionaire

2008-12-22

I apologize for the slight delay. I'll make up for it by posting early next week.

This week's update features a review of Danny Boyle's new film, starring Ayush Mahesh Khedekar, Tanay Chheda, and Dev Patel as the same person as well as Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, Ashutosh Lobo Gajiwala, Madhur Mittal, Freida Pinto, and Anil Kapoor as other people:

The Day the Earth Stood Still

2008-12-15

This weekend saw the release of The Day the Earth Stood Still, a remake of Robert Wise's 1951 science-fiction classic, which, for the record, I find grossly overrated.

The new movie is directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, and John Cleese. He's a review I wrote for AskMen.com:

To celebrate the occasion, let's take a look at her short story Rape Fantasies, originally published in 1977:

Literary Essay: Courting Disaster

Real Estate

2008-11-10

It's hardly Halloween anymore, but after all those scary movie reviews, I thought I'd be interesting to mention a true horror of modern economy. Here's a short blurb I wrote months ago for the AskMen.com keyword feature. Yes, I know. I have a perverse sense of humour:

AskMen.com: Real Estate

Demons

2008-10-27

Halloween Month continues!

This week's update features the last horror flick review of the month. It's of Lamberto Bava's Italian cult classic Demons, starring far too many actors to list here:

The X-Files: I Want to Believe

2008-08-11

This week's update features a review of The X-Files: I Want to Believe. I wanted to release it a few weeks ago, but there was no space in the schedule. Besides, from the box office gross, I don't think anyone minds.

The hardly awaited sequel stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Amanda Peet, Xzibit, and Billy Connolly:
