I really need stop saying “like” and “you know” so much. :-p
François, you are a Valley girl.
And you guys need to watch more anime if that’s your image of it… Please note that actual silence is not included in the North American versions of Ghibli movies, unfortunately.
I love all of your movies!!! (except the Lord of the Rings… Needs more Tom Bombadil, more balanced Saruman.) If I were to add anything, I’d say Up and Wall-E from Pixar… Oh heck, anything from Pixar! Hmmm… and Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Royal Tanenbaums and Moonrise Kingdom, just because I can.
Ooh, and Wallace and Gromit! And Shaun of the Dead! Must… stop… now…
Oh yeah, and that is one nice Pan’s Labyrinth poster!
I do regret no having included any Pixar movie in my top three. Lots were runner-ups, I assure you. Jason Reitman’s “Up in the Air” also came close to making the list.
Here’s a larger version of the Pan’s Labyrinth poster for your viewing pleasure. Got to love that Mike Mignola: http://www.thedreamersedge.com/de-podcast-57-best-of-the-aughts-part-ii/pans-labyrinth-faun/

Zappa’s daughter, Moon Unit, did the dialogue in studio.
I understand the trials of picking only so many movies. I don’t know how you managed to all do it.
Mike Mignola indeed. I hope I can see him at Comiccon.
haha fersure!
