DE Podcast 55: Don’t F— with Total Recall

Don’t F— with the Original returns! To commemorate Len Wiseman’s remake of 1990′s Total Recall (because, let’s face it, most people will have forgotten it before its release), Nicolas and Dimitri take a look back at Paul Verhoeven’s original sci-fi thriller. To our credit, the recording doesn’t feature a single Arnold Schwarzenegger impression.

BEST review of Total Recall in podcast form I have heard, better than CPP, Mancave Podcast and Now Playing, perhaps better than filmjunk’s – nice scientific examination. Kind of a bash of it, yet you bring up the comedy element and B movie fun. Pity about the remake stinking, the Conan remake lost a pile too.

Would like to hear a Blade Runner one, esp. since the 30th anniv. release of the movie coming up within a few months.

Thank you for the kind words, Jay1. We indeed have a review of Blade Runner slated to coincide with the 30th anniversary release, so please stay tuned!
